Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order. Actual sizes are those stated when ordered, ages are approximated on some items as an estimate for your convenience.
We accept credit and debit card payment. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.
We accept most major Credit/Debit card payments, such as Visa, Maestro, Electron and Mastercard. You may order via phone or over the Internet.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when your order is invoiced. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, an item is out of stock or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Delivery
Currently the MAXIMUM standard delivery charge is £3.30 (exc. VAT) for all orders delivered within the UK. However if you wish to collect the items you have ordered from one of our stores after they have been despatched then please indicate this at checkout when you are ordering your items by selecting collection from store and noting the store location in the delivery instructions; your items will be reserved once despatched for thirty days. Our customers sometimes prefer this method if they wish to try their purchaces on for size, or simply for convinience; you may be called when these items are ready for collection. If you are ordering Name Tags alone, select "Name Tapes only" at checkout, and the Name Tags will be delivered for free. Please note that if it is the first time that you have ordered from us online that you (the cardholder) may be required to be present to sign for your delivery at your registered card holder address, if we need to contact you, we may call you from the hours of 08:00 to 20:00hrs. Please state in your delivery instructions if these times are not suitable.
With offering a FREE DELIVERY SERVICE - ALL ORDERS ARE DELIVERED via courier. For clarity: the Collection from Store service is suspended in favour of the FREE DELIVERY SERVICE on order above the set value.
Delivery Schedule
All our garments including Embroidered and Printed garments are made to order.
For Delivery or Collection from store, we will normally despatch your order in three to five working days, however at certain times of the year it is possible that despatches and deliveries can be delayed, in which case we ask that for any urgent orders that customers call 01522 510016 or select Priority Delivery (despatch within one to two working days) at checkout. Please note it is important to give correct daytime contact number and email address.
To minimise social contact - ALL ORDERS ARE DELIVERY ONLY during the pandemic. For clarity: the Collection from Store service is suspended.
Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always have the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Tax Charges
For orders made from the UK or the European Union, VAT is added where required .
Credit Card Security
When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 256 bit encryption. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL DATA
We will use the personal information you supply to us in the course of submitting an order for the purpose of fulfilling that order.

WHAT DATA DO WE HOLD?
We hold the personal data that you supplied in the course of placing your order or enquiry.
The data normally consists of: product information, transactional information, fraud checking information, name, address, phone number, email, telephone calls, special delivery instructions and potentially other information to ensure the successful completion of your order.
We may hold notes of our communication with you through different channels including, but not limited to: email, live chat, CRM (Customer Relationship Management system) and phone.
We will not seek personal information from you relating to race, religion, political affiliation, trade union membership, sexual orientation, medical or genetic history and we ask you not to provide such information to us under any circumstances.

Returns Policy
At Uniform Direct online, we want you to be to be fully satisfied with your purchases. We understand that sometimes you might change your mind or have a reason to return an item, so we offer a 28-day return period from the date of delivery - double the standard 14 days required by UK Consumer Contracts Regulations. Your peace of mind matters to us, your statutory rights, including the right to cancel within 14 days, are still in place, but we like to give you more time.
If you wish to return an item, just drop us an email with your order reference. Please make sure items are unworn, unwashed, with tags intact, and in their original saleable condition. Note: returns aren't possible for made-to-order items or where hygiene is important, like hosiery or swimwear.
We recommend using insured postage, as returns are your responsibility until they reach us. Or if you prefer, drop by your local store for help - we're always here to assist.
